Ombudspersons meet The Head of Office of The Council of Europe in Bosnia and Herzegovina

On Wednesday, 30 August 2017 Ombudspersons of Bosnia and Herzegovina Jasminka Džumhur, PhD, Nives Jukić and Ljubinko Mitrović, PhD, the Head of Office of the Council of Europe in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Drahoslav Štefánek and his associates on the premises of the Ombudsman Regional Office Sarajevo.

The topic of the meeting was the evaluation of the previous activities implemented within the framework of the project of support given by the Council of Europe to the Institution of Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina and definition of future activities.

Ombudspersons informed Ambassador Štefánek about the activities taken by the Institution of Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina and main indicators of human rights situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina as presented through the annual and special reports of the Institution. The meeting which was held in a constructive atmosphere was also an opportunity for information exchange.
