Ombudsmen prof. dr. Ljubinko Mitrović and dr. Jasminka Džumhur at the presentation of the Action Plan of the Council of Europe for BiH 2018.-2021.

Ombudsmen of Bosnia and Herzegovina prof. dr. Ljubinko Mitrović and dr. Jasminka Džumhur will attend today the official presentation of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2018-2021.

Presentation of the Action Plan will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Črnadk and the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Sarajevo, Ambassador Drahoslav Štefanek.

This is a strategic programming instrument, aimed at improving the practice of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of human rights, the rule of law and democracy. The plan highlights the joint cooperation and action of the national partners and the Council of Europe, with the aim of enabling not only the fulfillment of the obligations of a member state of the Council of Europe, but also assistance in the European integration process.

Participants in this presentation will be from the ranks of national institutions, ambassadors of Council of Europe member states and observer countries, and members of civil society.
