Ombudsmen dr. Jasminka Džumhur participated in the round table "Migration in the context of the current security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina"

Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina dr. Jasminka Džumhur took part in the round table discussion on "Migration in the context of the current security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina", held on July 17, 2018 in Sarajevo.

The participants of the round table, organized by the Faculty of Criminology, Criminology and Security Studies at the University of Sarajevo, discussed the challenges and threats that the migrant crisis brings to safety, explored opportunities and looked at solutions to issues related to migration and security.

The work of the round table took place in two sessions, during which it was discussed about the current impact of migration on the security of BiH. societies, as well as activities carried out by institutions and humanitarian organizations in supporting migrants.

Ombudsman dr. Jasminka Džumhur addressed the participants during the second session of the conference dedicated to the theme "The Role of Humanitarian, Government and Non-Governmental Organizations and Religious Communities in Supporting Migrants".
