Ombudsmen dr. Jasminka Džumhur visited the Service for Foreigners

Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina dr. Jasminka Džumhur, in cooperation with her collaborators, on September 21, 2018 visited the headquarters of the Service for Foreigners' Affairs in Sarajevo. At a meeting with the Director of the Service Slobodan Ujić and associates, she discussed the current state of affairs in the area of migration.

On that occasion, it was noted that infrastructure problems are currently being solved in order to be put into operation at the Open Center Ušivak. The Director of the Service especially emphasized that the use of the biometric system for the registration of migrants was introduced.

Today's Ombudsman meeting between dr. Jasminka Džumhur and the Director of the Foreign Service Department is part of the activities that are being undertaken for the purpose of gathering information for the preparation of the Special Report of the Ombudsman on the state of migration in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
