Ombudsman's Activities | 21.09.2018 Ombudsmen dr. Jasminka Džumhur visited the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Asylum Sector dr. Jasminka Džumhur, ombudsman Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina dr. Jasminka Džumhur, assistant ombudsman Emina Halilović and associates, visited the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Sector for Asylum on Friday, September 21, 2018. On that occasion, a meeting was held with the Assistant Minister of Security Marijan Baotić. The topic of the discussion was related to the current position of migrants and asylum seekers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special emphasis on the issue of registration and the implementation of the asylum procedure. The Deputy Minister pointed out the lack of capacity of the competent authority for adequate access to the care of migrants. The meeting is covered by activities undertaken by the Ombudsman Institution in order to prepare the Special Report on the Status of Migration in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
