Ombudsman's Activities | 13.11.2017 Ombudsperson Nives Jukić taking part at the Regional Meeting of the European Network of Ombudspersons for Children Regional Meeting of the European Network of Ombudspersons for Children, Athens, Greece Ombudsperson of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nives Jukić, with Expert Associate Ivana Džidić, MA, is taking part at the two-day regional meeting of the European Network of Ombudspersons for Children titled “Safeguarding and Protecting the Rights of Children on the Move: The Challenge of Social Inclusion”, which will take place in Athens, Greece from 13-14 November 2017. The meeting is organized by the Greek Ombudsman in collaboration with the European Network of Ombudspersons for Children (ENOC) and UNICEF, with funding from UNICEF and the European Commission’s Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme. The first day of the meeting will be a closed session for Ombudspersons for children from the region to review progress and good practices related to protecting the rights of children on the move and promoting their social inclusion, culminating in a series of draft recommendations. The second day of the meeting will be open to invited representatives from public agencies and NGOs, and will include an update of the evolving legal and policy framework for protecting children on the move.
