The Institution of Ombudsmen for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina has registered the case regarding the tragic death of David Dragičević from Banja Luka. The subject is registered under the number Ž-BL-01-408/18.

The Ombudsmen, in accordance with the competencies established by the provisions of the Law on the Ombudsman for Human Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Rules of Procedure of the Ombudsman Institution for Bosnia and Herzegovina, are considering all the possibilities available to them with a clear aim in order to determine in all cases the relevant facts and circumstances. Ombudsmen, in this way, want to clearly and unequivocally express their commitment in terms of establishing the full truth.

The Ombudsman Institution is an independent institution, established with the aim of promoting good governance and the rule of law and freedom of natural and legal persons, as guaranteed by the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international agreements contained in the appendix to the Constitution. In this regard, the Ombudsman Institution oversees the activities of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, its entities and the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The ombudsmen will inform the parents of the late David Dragicević and the public about all the actions taken and the results of the actions taken.
