Ombudsman's Activities | 18.11.2019 Ombudsmen of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the International Ombudsman Conference in Istanbul Ombudsmen of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the International Ombudsman Conference in Istanbul Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nives Jukić, Prof. dr. Ljubinko Mitrović and Dr. Jasminka Džumhur is participating in the work of the Second Istanbul International Ombudsman Conference entitled "Principles of Good Governance and Ombudsman", which is being held in this city on November 18-19, 2019. In the introductory part of the conference, in addition to the host of the Ombudsman of Turkey, Şeref Malkoç, the participants will be addressed by the President of the Republic of Turkey HE. Rücker Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mr. Mustafa Şentop. Some of the topics of the conference are the contribution of the Ombudsman to the principles of good administration, raising awareness of the principles of impartiality and non-discrimination, the importance of implementing the principles of equality and fairness in administration, the defense of the right to good administration and the effectiveness of decisions, and others. The conference brings together a large number of representatives of the Ombudsman institutions, representatives of the diplomatic corps and other distinguished officials.
