Ombudsman's Activities | 23.02.2021 Ombudspersons of Bosnia and Herzegovina attending topical session of PABiH’s Joint Committee on Human Rights “Women’s Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina” Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Ombudspersons of Bosnia and Herzegovina Professor Ljubinko Mitrović and Jasminka Džumhur, PhD, are attending a topical session of the Joint Committee on Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the state of women’s human rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo today. The agenda of the session includes, inter alia, the presentation of the Report on the Benefits of the Adoption of the Gender Equality Act of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Report on Respect/State of Women’s Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina, drafted by the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Agency for Gender Equality of Bosnia and Herzegovina as per the conclusion from the sixth session of the Joint Committee on Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Along with other topical session participants, the ombudspersons will give their contribution to the discussion and formulation of conclusions, and thus improvement of the state of women’s human rights in society of BiH.
