Press statement | 16.06.2021 Recommendation concerning Bosanski Petrovac Municipality’s failure to issue decision Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina The complainant approached IHROBiH on 1 February 2021 in connection with the failure to issue decisions pursuant to Article 216 of the Administrative Procedure Act of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Following the investigation procedure, IHROBiH sent a recommendation (P-131/21) to the Mayor of Bosanski Petrovac Municipality on 24 May 2021: 1. Starting from their statutory powers and pursuant to Article 216 of the Administrative Procedure Act of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to take adequate measures to issue a new decision concerning the complainant’s case within a reasonable time; 2. To inform IHROBiH of the activities taken to implement the Recommendation within 30 days, counting from the day it is received.
