Department for the Protection of the Rights in Judiciary and Administration

Department for the Protection of the Rights in Judiciary and Administration shall receive the complaints and ex officio initiate investigations in cases when it establishes violations and problems in exercising rights in the field of judiciary and administration;

Department for the Protection of the Rights in Judiciary and Administration:

• Performs the tasks of improvement and protection of human rights in the field of judiciary and administration;
• Informs competent authorities, institutions and the public about human rights violations in the field of judiciary and administration;
• Removing obstacles to the consistent application of inernational conventions ratified by BiH;
• Participates in the drafting of laws and other regulations in the area of human rights in the field of judiciary and administration;
• It acts as a preventive violation of human rights in the area of judiciary and administration and removes them when it comes to them;
• Educates citizens how to use mechanisms for protecting their rights;
• Cooperates with system institutions, non-governmental sector and individuals in order to protect civil and political rights, and supports the media promotion activities of the same;
• Also performs other activities in the field of promotion and protection of human rights in the field of judiciary and administration.
