Ombudsmen Dr. Jasminka Džumhur and Nives Jukić Visit Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality

Within the activities of the Ombudsman in your city, Ombudsmen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Jasminka Džumhur and Nives Jukić, visited the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo today and held a meeting with Mayor Semir Efendić.

The activity, carried out in cooperation with the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina, aims to bring citizens of Novi Grad closer and more familiar with the human rights situation in the area.

The topics of the discussion were related to issues of importance for exercising citizens' rights in the territory of Novi Grad Municipality and improving the cooperation of the Ombudsman Institution with municipal authorities.

The interview with Mayor Efendić preceded the meetings with the Mayor of the Novi Grad Sarajevo Police Station and the Director of the Center for Social Work, where he also discussed human rights in this municipality.
