The Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina dr. Jasminka Džumhur at the presentation of the Report on Indicators of Media Freedoms in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina dr. Jasminka Džumhur today participated in the online presentation of the Report "Indicators for the level of media freedom and security of journalists in Bosnia and Herzegovina 2019".

On that occasion, the ombudswoman dr. Jasminka Džumhur spoke on the topic: "Freedom of the media and protection of journalists from the perspective of the institution of the Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina."

The presentation of the Report discussed not only media freedoms, physical and verbal attacks on journalists, but also the overall media image and environment in which journalists work in Bosnia and Herzegovina today, as well as their economic position and legal framework in which they operate.
