Ombudsman's Activities | 26.07.2021 Ombudsperson Jasminka Džumhur, PhD, holds meeting on equal parenting Ombudsman dr. Jasminka Džumhur held a meeting on the topic of equal parenting Ombudsperson of Bosnia and Herzegovina Jasminka Džumhur, PhD, held a meeting today with Sanja Remić of the Competence Network (Mreža kompetencija) Association Zenica and representatives of an informal group of fathers looking for protection of their rights. The meeting took place at the IHROBiH Regional Office in Sarajevo. In the meeting, they discussed the initiative to amend the existing FBiH Family Proceedings Act, its weaknesses, as well as the problems faced by divorced parents, in particular fathers. The two exchanged opinions about the modalities of the future cooperation on activities to amend the existing FBiH Family Proceedings Act and about IHROBiH’s support for this activity.
