Ombudswoman Nives Jukić at Global Accessibility Awareness Day

Ombudswoman of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nives Jukić took in the panel organised to mark the Global Accessibility Awareness Day and held in Sarajevo on 19 May 2022.

Ombudswoman Jukić addressed the panel on the topic of the rights of persons with disabilities.

The panel was organised by the Internet Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the project "Strengthening Internet Accessibility for the Blind", funded by the Internet Society Foundation under the grant Beyond the Net Large Grant Programme.

The panel aimed to mark the Global Accessibility Awareness Day (https://accessibility.day/events/) and contribute to raising awareness of barriers faced by people with disabilities, to provide information on the opportunities offered by digital technologies, as well as to find solutions for joint work by establishing strong partnerships and trust.

This is an activity of Ombudswoman Nives Jukić.
