Jasminka Džumhur, ombudsman Ombudsperson of Bosnia and Herzegovina Jasminka Džumhur, PhD, is taking part as a panelist in the Regional Conference: A Human Rights Bedrock: Effective National Human Rights Institutions for the Western Balkans on “Reaching out: towards impact”. The conference is organised by Human Rights Defenders and European Policy Institute - Skopje. The conference is aimed at facilitating a discussion on the first assessment or for regional effectiveness index for the sixteen human rights institutions in the Western Balkans, while highlighting the key issues concerning the position and strengthening of the role of human rights institutions in the region and exchanging valuable information, lessons learned and good practice.
