Ombudsman's Activities | 22.09.2021 Ombudsmen Dr. Jasminka Džumhur and Nives Jukić visited the East Sarajevo Juvenile Prison East Sarajevo Juvenile Prison Ombudsmen of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Jasminka Džumhur and Nives Jukić and their associates visited the Juvenile Prison within the Kula Penitentiary in East Sarajevo today. On that occasion, the ombudswomen talked with the director and employees of this institution, as well as juveniles who are serving prison sentences. The aim was to determine the real situation regarding their rights. Today's visit of the ombudswoman to the Juvenile Prison East Sarajevo represents the continuation of the joint activities of the Ombudsperson Institution and UNICEF in order to prepare a Special Report on the situation in institutions where children in conflict with the law are placed.
