Ombudsman Nives Jukić at the session of the Committee on Labor and Social Protection of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH

On Thursday, September 23, 2021, the Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nives Jukić will attend the 13th session of the Committee on Labor and Social Protection of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the agenda of the session, among other things, is the initiative to amend Article 147, paragraph 1 of the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", No. 3/2018 and 93/2019 - US decision) which prescribes the right to reimbursement of funeral expenses in the event of the death of a pension beneficiary.

The initiator of the initiative is the institution of the Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
