Ombudsman's Activities | 07.09.2022 Ombudswoman Dr Jasminka Džumhur at regional training in Warsaw dr. Jasminka Džumhur, ombudsman Human Rights Ombudswoman of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr Jasminka Džumhur is taking part in the regional training for oversight mechanisms and civil society organisations on integrating the issue of sexual and gender-based violence in detention monitoring to be held in Warsaw between 7and 9 September 2022. The training is organised by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) in Warsaw, and will benefit national human rights institutions, national preventive mechanisms and civil society organisations from Central Asia, South Caucasus, South-Eastern Europe and Central and Eastern European countries. This training will operationalise the Guidance Note for Oversight Mechanisms on Integrating the Issue of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence in Detention Monitoring, and help in strengthening the capacity of oversight mechanisms for integrating the issue of sexual violence and gender-based violence in their activities in detention monitoring.
